***Policies*** Please note: Unlike products from big department stores made from compressed or imitation woods, we at Breezey Builds strive to use top-quality material made with real wood. With that in mind, real wood tends to change over time.
1) Products may have visible marks from tools used, patches from small repairs, knot holes, natural inclusions, and/or wormholes. There may be various separations or cracks on your piece that naturally occur as the wood dries or shrinks with different temperatures and humidity. Over time, some continued shrinkage may accentuate existing separations or generate new ones, however, this DOES NOT compromise the structural performance or integrity of the wood and is considered inherent to the natural beauty of the rustic design. These things are very normal and can be touched up with a touch-up kit and direction from Breezey Builds.

2) It is important to note that variations of this kind are not considered flaws and are not admissible reasons for returns. While we endeavour to do our best to make sure each piece is built to top-quality standards, the changing of the wood is out of our control. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges if any of these natural occurrences take place.

3) As distressed furniture is made to look old, the paint will be removed on edges, sanded, or chipped off and covered with stain to give the resemblance of old furniture. If you do not want it distressed, we can omit this process, but that does not mean that it will not have the natural inclusions, knots and other imperfections that real wood has. Pictures are for reference and will not be exact since we make our products by hand there may be variation.

4) Colour piece by piece can vary. Photos online may not always resemble the exact final product. Shop visits are highly encouraged to ensure proper stain or paint selection.

5) Once the product leaves the shop or is delivered, there is no warranty. We will do our best to solve or fix any issues, however, we simply cannot guarantee anything as competitive as our prices are. Repairs or colour adjustments may be possible, based on an estimated fee for time/supplies needed. Touch up kits are offered for easy, at-home repairs.

6) Timelines are approximations based on the current queue waiting times. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding we also ask to please bear in mind: labour/lumber availability, product/material availability, and most importantly, our personal/family mental health - this is to ensure we at Breezey Builds are at best so we can deliver the best to our loyal customers!

We will reach out when your order approaches the top of the queue to confirm details and update a more appropriate timeline/date for delivery/pickup.

Payments are due upon completion of the item (at time of pickup or delivery). However, if there is a delay in your pickup, you may be asked to pay the balance while we store the piece. Payment options include: cash, cheques, e-transfer, or credit card.

7) Breezey Builds cannot be held responsible for any damage once the piece has left the shop. (Ex: When you pick up a product or have someone pick it up for you). Please come prepared with blankets/towels or securing devices with picking up. If you are sending a third party to pick up your item, please make sure you have pre-paid the balance owing or have made arrangements directly with Ryan.

8) Deposits are non-refundable, unless we are well over your quoted wait time.​
