PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

No project is perfect.  However, we will not settle until you leave the shop with the piece you want. If for whatever reason your order is not to your satisfaction, we will gladly keep the product or even a full refund of your deposit; I'll do what it takes. Once you've taken your project home however, I cannot offer a mobile repair service and it will your responsibility.

TIMELINE/WORK ORDERS

WAIT TIMES/EST. Completion are APPROX and can change unfortunately due to a variety of factors including lumber availability and/or family life/availability.  Honesty is my policy and as much as I wish I could promise exact completion dates, it’s just not feasible.  Our shop is going 7 days a week and projects are being completed constantly, but it’s always been first come, first serve.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

You approach with an idea/concept or wants to order an existing offered product.
We will work with you directly to decide on the dimensions, colors, finish, etc.
A work order will be made up with all of these details as well as a quote and required deposit.
Once the deposit has been received and confirmed your project goes into the production queue! Your order will begin being built when it reaches the top of the queue, but don’t worry once we start its usually only a week at most till it’s ready for pickup or delivery.

PAYMENTS/DEPOSITS

Payments are due upon completion of the item (at time of pickup or delivery).  However, if there is a delay in your pickup, you may be asked to pay the balance while we store the piece. Payment options include: cash, cheques, e-transfer, or credit card.

Deposits are required to secure your booking in our queue, they are only refundable if we fail to meet your estimated completion time by over 6 weeks. They are strictly to cover material costs/hardware. Any additional work added on to an existing work order may have to begin at the bottom of the queue for fairness to all clients.  Thank you for understanding!

DELIVERY

Delivery is available for a flat rate of $80-150 per trip (we can almost always fit everything in one trip). Once your item is approaching completion, Breezey Builds will reach out to confirm a delivery date/time.  It is however recommended to pick up your item as our schedule can be unpredictable.

LOCAL VALUES

I believe in shopping locally.  I believe in supporting our community and our local families.  Personally, I have been servicing the Lower Mainland in different industries for 15 years and I know how much I appreciate everyone’s support.  Breezey Builds welcomes trades of services to other local businesses.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to collaborate and support one another.

DO YOU HAVE ITEMS IN STOCK? OR A SHOWROOM?

We hold no stock on any items; which means your piece is truly one of a kind. The dimensions, the stain/paint, the finish, it’s your decisions which define the furniture.  Looking for something not on the site?  That’s the best part; I LOVE trying new things, so please reach out with any concepts or ideas. If you'd like to come see our work, we welcome visits to the shop and we'll usually have a project completed you can look at.

WHY IS MY PIECE MAKING POPPING/CREAKING SOUNDS?

Wood, just like any other organic material, can expand, contract, and warp depending on what’s going on in their environment. High heat can cause wood to expand, while colder temperatures can cause them to contract. This alone can cause wooden furniture to creak.

If the furniture in question happens to have other materials included in its build, you might hear creaking turn into popping or cracking. This is normal and shouldn’t spook you, either. Let’s talk about what’s going on, shall we?
